We naturally picture banker types when we think of investments and investing. It might be to our advantage to consider those investments which are personal and are lying closer at hand. Those which are crucial to our success in life. 

I am speaking of course about how we invest our time (the most limited and therefore valuable commodity) and our disposable income (also limited and valuable).
